Where am I?

Where are you? Do you know where you are? Maybe you are a stay at home mom,..maybe you are a working woman doing your best to make ends meet.. maybe you are a  wife or mother..maybe you are a single mom.. Where has God called you to be right now ? What is your current situation?   you may not be where you thought you would ..maybe your past has gotten in the way of your today..maybe the job you have is getting old..maybe you are tired and wish your husband would be the man you wanted him to be..maybe your tired of struggling paying the bills..maybe your lonely waiting on 'the one'...maybe things look pretty good from where you are.. truth is no matter where we are..God knows!! God knows our struggles and our joys..We can lay it all before Him and He knows!!  He is there... That should give us comfort and peace. 1 Corinthians 12 tells us that we are ALL part of one body . The body of Christ..a body of believers. the amazing part of God knowing where you are is that He kno

Who am I?

2 Samuel 7:18-22     David's Prayer 18 Then King David went in and sat before the LORD, and he said:    “Who am I, Sovereign LORD, and what is my family, that you have brought me this far? 19 And as if this were not enough in your sight, Sovereign LORD, you have also spoken about the future of the house of your servant—and this decree, Sovereign LORD, is for a mere human! [ c ]   20 “What more can David say to you? For you know your servant, Sovereign LORD. 21 For the sake of your word and according to your will, you have done this great thing and made it known to your servant.   22 “How great you are, Sovereign LORD! There is no one like you, and there is no God but you, as we have heard with our own ears. These are some of my favorite verses of the bible. They spoke to me at a time in my life when I really needed to hear God's voice. It amazes me the words of David are often how I feel when I look back on all the things God has done for me.        You may know my

A Thankful heart is a HAPPY heart

While sometimes I am not very joyful.. I  feel like it is a matter of where you are in your thankfulness .  Last night I was kinda bummed. My boys went off on a "family " weekend with their dad's family..it always bums me out some because I can't enjoy that with them. I can however choose to be thankful that they have a wonderful time and family with their dad and his wife and little sister. This morning in the shower I could really feel those raw emotions and the pitiful me's trying to take over again. I just started praising the LORD for who HE is and what He has provided for me.. lest I forget . He has provided a place for the boys and I to be safe and taken care of. He provided our condo and it's maintenance free yard.(hallelujah!!) He has watched over me to help me make good decisions and HE has forgiven me and wrapped His arms around me. Knowing and thanking HIM for all that HE has provided is turning my blah's into a GREAT anticipation of t

Keeping the main things the main things!!!

What is your main purpose?   Your main focus? Somedays I get so busy and caught up in what I am doing, or what my kids are doing that I forget the main thing . The main thing in my life should be my relationship with Jesus . One of the things I am really trying to work on this year is my attitude. I really want to be kind with my words toward others. One of the major factors for this is getting caught up in moments and just saying what I feel and not stopping to say what is right or... to say nothing at all.  In Isaiah 53:7 it is fortold of Jesus that "He was oppressed and afflicted, yet He did not open His mouth.".. Really? He did that for me. I am so thankful!! The least I could do is pause and praise him with my actions. This picture helps me to keep the main thing the main thing . This is Logan. My 5 year old nephew who happens to have down syndrome. He went with his grandparents and his parents to see the Christmas lights at Opryland Hotel last week. They walked a

Way too much FUN!

Can you tell I am really going to enjoy this?!   Hee hee.  Today I am taking all the Christmas stuff down. I DO NOT like it!!  I have never liked January. I guess because it is usually cold and dark to me. But this year I am going to choose JOY. To look at it differently. January will be a new start ..a fresh beginning. I CAN choose to look at life the way Jesus did.. with a GREATER outlook..something beyond myself. OK I must get back to the task at hand and get the decor up and clean my house. Tomorrow starts the work week for me. Much to get done today. Hoping to share more with you soon... Choosing JOY!!!- Mollie

Praying for my boys!!

One of my goals this year is to help my boys apply GOD'S TRUTH to their lives. A lessoned I learned at the age of 19 and one that I still put into practice today. Why is God's truth written down for us? It is for us to use and apply.God's word is TRUTH.  In this world we hear so much negative and lies..we need to have a foundation of God's Truth .  I will start out by praying these verses for my sons so that they will know more of God's Truth ..which is       His Word .. ... Proverbs 4:20-27 .. My son, pay attention to what I say; turn your ear to my words.  Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart ;  for they are life to those who find them and health to one’s whole body.  Above all else, guard your heart , for everything you do flows from it. Keep your mouth free of perversity; keep corrupt talk far from your lips.  Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you.  Give careful thought to the
